About kebab-case conversion
kebab-case lowercases words and joins them with hyphens. It is common in URLs, CSS class names, and command-line flags. Slugify also folds accents and can cap length; kebab-case is the simpler join.
Worked example: “The Quick BROWN Fox” becomes “the-quick-brown-fox.” CONSTANT_CASE is THE_QUICK_BROWN_FOX. Do not put kebab-case in a JavaScript identifier (use camelCase).
Nothing is uploaded. Convert to keeps input. Slugify is the sibling when the source is a headline with punctuation and accents.
The URL is /tools/kebab-case. We do not percent-encode; URL Encode is the sibling for that. Consecutive hyphens can appear from punctuation — Slugify is stricter about tidy slugs. npm package names often look like this; Java fields usually do not.
Routing tables still need unique paths. This converter does not check a sitemap.
