About generating QR codes locally
QR Code Generator draws a QR code in this tab from a URL, plain text, Wi-Fi network, email, phone, SMS, vCard, or WhatsApp payload. The SVG updates as you type — there is no Generate button. Error correction, size, colors, quiet zone, and an optional center logo are local canvas/SVG work. Nothing is uploaded. Include https:// on URLs so scanners open the page. A logo forces high error correction so scanners can still read the code.
This is not a bulk campaign tool, not a short-link service, and not analytics on scans. Very long vCards can fail to scan on cheap readers — shorten the fields. Print contrast matters: light-on-light will not scan. Barcode Generator is the sibling for 1D retail marks (EAN, UPC, Code 128). Image tools compress or convert a photo you already have; they do not encode a URL.
